I am not a well person, so I don't know when I will make it to the grocery store. I am using what is on hand this week. Good thing I overbuy, right?Obviously, using what is on hand is not going to create any culinary masterpieces. When I am sick I usually resort back to the food I grew up on... good, hearty, country bumpkin food. Yum.

Pumpkin Cornmeal Pancakes, oven roasted potatoes
1/5 - Saturday
Homemade Scalloped Potatoes with Ham
1/6 - Sunday
Rice and beef (The recipe from The Tightwad Gazette.)
1/7 - Monday
Potatoes and pork - (Sauté chunks of pork with garlic and onion. Add thickly sliced potatoes, and cook until done.)
1/8 - Tuesday
BBQ Sausage, oven roasted potatoes
1/9 - Wednesday
Baked Vegetable Stew with Biscuits on top
